The academic and cultural communities across Lagos State are in celebration as one of Epe Division’s most respected scholars, Prof. Nosiru Olajide Onibon, has been officially promoted to the prestigious rank of Full Professor by the Lagos State University (LASU) Governing Council.

EpeInsights reports that the  renowned Islamic scholar, former Provost of the Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) and immediate past Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Prof. Onibon has long been a symbol of excellence, service, and academic brilliance.

His elevation has sparked pride not just within academic circles but throughout the entire Epe Division, with tributes pouring in to honor his lifetime of dedication to knowledge, leadership, and community empowerment.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Youth Ambassador and Educator, Amb. Ibraheem Ogunbanwo, described the milestone as a victory not only for Prof. Onibon but for the youth of Epe Division, the LASU academic family, and Lagos State at large.
