The political atmosphere in Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) surged with energy on Saturday, July 5, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate, Honorable Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, began an intensive ward-to-ward campaign ahead of the upcoming Lagos State Local Government elections scheduled for July 12.
EpeInsights reports that Akinloye, accompanied by his running mate, Honorable Lateef Adesanya, toured five wards, starting from Ward H1 under the leadership of Honorable Wasiu Adeniyi.
The campaign team then moved to Ward J1, led by Honorable Tunde Bakare Olowo, followed by Ward K1 represented by Mr. Johnson Hammed Temitope, Ward L1 under Mrs. Abosede Mary Olusanya and concluded the tour at Ward M1 with Honorable Sulaiman Adebola Odubanjo.
At every ward, the APC flag was formally handed over to the respective councillorship candidates, symbolizing the party’s confidence and unity in the run-up to the elections.
Addressing a lively crowd of supporters, Akinloye reiterated his commitment to fostering an inclusive administration focused on the needs and aspirations of the people.
He promised that his government would be truly “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” with open doors and active engagement for all voices in the community.
Supporting this positive momentum, Honorable Shakiru Adebanjo spoke on behalf of the APC leadership, expressing strong confidence that the party will secure a decisive victory in Eredo.
He emphasized that the results will reflect the people’s trust through overwhelming numbers across all wards.
Furthermore, the APC LGA Chairman, Alhaji Mahmud Agbaraojo, praised Akinloye’s dedication and visionary leadership, recognizing him as a symbol of consistency and credible governance within the LCDA.
Agbaraojo expressed pride in the candidate’s track record of community development and pledged continued support for his campaign.
As the July 12 polls approach, the APC campaign in Eredo continues to build momentum with a strong focus on grassroots mobilization, unity, and promises of continued development for the people.
