In the build-up to the forthcoming local government elections, political support groups are mobilizing on all fronts and in Ibeju-Lekki, the momentum is gaining strength.

EpeInsights reports that the MFA Ambassadors on Monday dedicated grassroots campaign team, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, to formally express their support and present campaign materials for his re-election bid.

Led by their Director-General, Hon. Saheed Balogun, and the group’s coordinator, Ogbeni Jamiu Olawale, the delegation was joined by none other than the Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, under whose inspiration the group was formed.

The visit was not only symbolic but strategic serving to brief the council chairman on the activities of the Independent Campaign Group while reinforcing grassroots mobilization efforts already underway in Ward E and beyond.

Receiving the team, Hon. Olowa expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering dedication of the MFA Ambassadors.

He commended their tireless commitment, especially their door-to-door outreach even under harsh weather conditions. “Your commitment has been top-notch, crisscrossing communities under the sun and rain to spread our message.”

Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, praised Hon. Olowa’s performance, describing him as a “Mayor of Impact.”

He reaffirmed the group’s loyalty and described the MFA Ambassadors as a grassroots force truly taking the campaign message to the people. “Charity begins at home and these elections must be people-driven. Real votes must be canvassed. That’s exactly what these Ambassadors are doing.”

Also in attendance was Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, Vice Chairman of the council, who lauded the team’s energy and made a personal donation to support their work. APC Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki, Hon.
