The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to His Royal Majesty, Oba Nelson Obayomi Ogunlari (Ogundalu II), the Olowu of Owu-Ikosi Kingdom, as he marks another year of grace, leadership and service to his people.
EpeInsights reports that in a message released on behalf of his family, the Executive Cabinet, Legislative Arm, management, staff, and the good people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, the Chairman paid glowing tribute to the monarch’s impactful reign.
“Kabiyesi, your reign has continued to be a beacon of peace, unity and purposeful leadership. You remain a shining example of what it means to lead with humility, wisdom and an unyielding commitment to community development,” he said.
Chairman Anomo lauded the monarch’s efforts in fostering harmony and progress in Owu-Ikosi, describing his leadership as instrumental in the continued development of the kingdom.
“As you celebrate this new chapter of your life, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with sound health, uncommon strength, and divine guidance,” the statement read.
“May your reign remain long, peaceful, and prosperous. And may you live to witness many more years on the revered throne of your forefathers in service to humanity.”
He concluded the message with a traditional Yoruba birthday greeting: “Igba odun, odun kan ni.”
