Speaking on behalf of the welfare unit, Bakare Mashood reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to grassroots development. He noted that the team would prioritize programs that directly improve the lives of residents, with a strong focus on education, youth empowerment, and community support systems.
Observers at the event described the inauguration as a symbol of renewed hope and direction for the Ogunmodede Club. The ceremony also served as a platform to reflect on the club’s long-standing contributions to Epe’s development and its role in fostering unity among indigenes.
The Ogunmodede Club has historically championed initiatives that promote cultural preservation, community cohesion, and socio-economic advancement. Its influence extends beyond Epe, serving as a model for similar socio-cultural organizations across Lagos State.
With the new leadership in place, expectations are high that the club will build on its achievements and introduce innovative programs that address contemporary challenges. Members believe the administration’s focus on collaboration and inclusivity will further strengthen the club’s relevance in today’s evolving social landscape.
As the 2026–2028 tenure begins, stakeholders are hopeful that the Ogunmodede Club will continue to uphold its legacy while embracing new opportunities for growth and development. The successful inauguration signals a promising chapter in the club’s history, anchored on service, unity, and progress.
