The Honourable Minister for Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has been officially installed as a member of Epe Club, the Premier Club of Epe Division, at a grand ceremony held in Ikeja, Lagos.

Epe Insights reports that Dr Alausa was presented with a certificate of membership and the club’s identity cap, formally inducting him into the elite association known for its distinguished membership and legacy of service.

The installation was performed by Professor Onibon, former Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University of Education, who highlighted the club’s rich history and its membership base comprising past and present governors, lawmakers, local government chairmen, professionals, and business leaders across Lagos State and beyond.

Dr Alausa expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of Epe Club, describing the honour as deeply meaningful and symbolic of leadership, unity, and service to humanity.

He pledged his commitment to the ideals of the club, assuring members of his support for initiatives that promote education, leadership development, and community advancement across Epe Division and Lagos State.

The Minister commended the club for sustaining its relevance over the years and for its culture of celebrating impactful leaders while they are still alive.

The installation ceremony formed part of a broader event organised by Epe Club to celebrate and immortalise one of its most distinguished leaders, Alhaji (Chief) Shakiru Akanni Seriki Bamu (GCEC).

The event attracted political leaders, royal fathers, captains of industry, and key stakeholders from across Lagos State.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented by his Chief of Staff, while the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
