Epe Grammar School Gets Major Infrastructure Boost as Minister of Education Commissions Projects

Major educational infrastructure projects have been commissioned at Epe Grammar School, Epe, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, marking a significant boost for public education in the area.

Epe Insights reports that the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, CON, on Friday formally commissioned and handed over the projects, with the Member representing Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji, in attendance and commended for facilitating impactful interventions.

At Epe Grammar School, the commissioned projects include newly built hostels for students, modern classrooms, staff quarters, an ICT centre, improved internal infrastructure, and a mini stadium designed to enhance both academic and extracurricular activities.

At Temu Community Senior Secondary School, newly constructed and fully equipped classrooms were unveiled to support quality teaching, learning, and the smooth take-off of senior secondary education.

Hon. Wale Raji described the projects as strategic investments in human capital development, noting that improved learning environments are essential for academic excellence and youth empowerment.

The Minister praised the lawmaker’s commitment to education, stating that the projects align with the Federal Government’s drive to strengthen public schools and expand access to quality education.

The commissioning ceremony attracted education stakeholders, community leaders, school administrators, parents, and students, who described the developments as transformative for the Epe axis.

A novelty football match between Team Wale Raji and Team Tunji Alausa added excitement to the event, drawing cheers from students and residents.

The friendly match ended in a penalty shootout victory for Team Wale Raji, with ₦1 million awarded to each player as a morale booster.

Community stakeholders applauded the gesture, noting that it further strengthened youth engagement and goodwill during the commissioning ceremony.
