Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), in partnership with the Akanke Foundation, has announced plans to host the 5th edition of its annual Christmas and New Year Children Funfair, scheduled for Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Epe Insights reports that the much-anticipated event will take place at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat in Agbowa, beginning at 10:00am, as part of efforts to celebrate the festive season while promoting child development and social inclusion.
The annual funfair is designed to provide a safe, exciting, and educative environment where children from across the LCDA can relax, learn, and interact during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
According to the organizers, this year’s edition promises an improved lineup of activities aimed at combining entertainment with learning, ensuring that children enjoy meaningful experiences beyond leisure.
Planned activities include educational games, creative play sessions, gift distribution, interactive learning engagements, and other child-friendly attractions tailored to different age groups.
