No fatalities were recorded, but the incident left affected vehicle owners with heavy losses.

Eyewitnesses said thick smoke engulfed the area, forcing residents and passersby to flee for safety as fear spread across the neighbourhood.

Reacting to the incident, the Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, immediately mobilised emergency responders to the scene.

He stated that resident safety remained the council’s top priority and praised the prompt deployment of emergency services.

Hon. Akinloye also commended firefighters and other responders for their professionalism and timely intervention.

Authorities have secured the affected area, while investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.

Residents have been advised to remain vigilant and promptly report any safety concerns to relevant agencies.
