The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, has marked his first 100 days in office with a series of impactful projects and community-focused programs across the council.

EpeInsights reports that since assuming office, Kasali’s administration has prioritized health, education and welfare, with ongoing projects including the construction of a Type-C Modern Primary Health Centre, a Type-A PHC at Okun Ise and the rehabilitation of the Apakin PHC.

Folu Primary School has been renovated, and new whiteboards provided to enhance teaching and learning for students.

Kasali emphasized that these efforts go beyond structures, reflecting the council’s commitment to residents’ well-being and future prospects.

Environmental initiatives have also been a focus, with waterways channeled to prevent flooding, road verges regularly cleared and monthly fumigation of public facilities to promote a cleaner and safer community.

On the human development front, the council has sustained free skill acquisition and IT training programs for youths and staff, organized summer coaching programs for students and maintained monthly food palliative distributions alongside free medical checkups for council staff.

Several free health missions, including eye care, prostate cancer screening and general medical services, have also been held to promote community wellness.

In addition, the council has recognized academic excellence by awarding outstanding students and providing “Back to School” materials to encourage learning.

“These initiatives reflect our vision for a progressive, healthy and educated community, we remain committed to delivering tangible development to every ward in Lekki LCDA.” Kasali said.

Kasali’s first 100 days have been marked by visible progress and a leadership style focused on people’s needs, underscoring a government dedicated to sustainable growth and inclusive development.
