RBK Orders Immediate Replacement of Whiteboards in Lekki Public Primary Schools

The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has directed the immediate procurement and distribution of new whiteboards to 14 public primary schools across the LCDA.

The directive followed a report presented to the Chairman on the poor condition of classroom facilities in some public schools within the area. Responding swiftly, Engr. Kasali ordered that all affected schools be supplied with new whiteboards to improve teaching quality and enhance the overall learning experience for pupils.

He noted that education remains a top priority for his administration, reaffirming his commitment to providing the necessary resources and infrastructure that support effective learning in public schools.

“Education remains the most powerful investment in our children’s future. Our administration is determined to provide the best possible learning environment for every child in Lekki LCDA,” he stated.

This initiative adds to a series of education-focused interventions under the RBK-led administration, which has continued to demonstrate strong commitment to raising the standard of education in the council.

Over time, the council has made significant progress in improving school infrastructure, supporting teachers, and expanding access to quality learning for pupils.

Engr. Kasali explained that the whiteboard replacement exercise is a continuation of his government’s efforts to modernize classroom environments and promote better interaction between teachers and students.

He assured residents that the administration will not relent in its mission to build a more functional and equitable educational system for all.

The Media Office of the Executive Chairman described the move as another milestone in the council’s quest for educational excellence, reaffirming that the welfare of pupils and teachers remains a central focus of the current administration.

“This is another practical step toward building a stronger and more effective educational foundation in Lekki LCDA,” the statement added.
