Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Wale Raji, has commended the management and medical team of Federal Medical Centre, Epe, over the successful completion of its maiden world-class orthopaedic surgeries.
Epe Insights reports that the lawmaker described the development as a historic milestone in the transformation of FMC Epe into a full-fledged tertiary healthcare institution.
Rep. Raji highlighted the landmark procedures, including a successful surgery on a patient with a Giant Cell Tumour of the radius and a Total Hip Replacement for a young man with advanced Avascular Necrosis.
He noted that the achievement reflects the growing capacity of the Centre to deliver specialised and advanced medical care within the constituency.
Beyond orthopaedics, the federal lawmaker praised the expansion of services such as advanced laboratory diagnostics, cardiology clinics, dental care, fertility and hormonal testing.
He also commended the recruitment of specialist consultants, describing it as evidence of purposeful growth and professionalism.
