Construction of new lodges for NYSC members and school principals has begun across the Epe Federal Constituency to improve living standards for educators and corps members.

Epe Insights reports that the ongoing projects include a modern NYSC Corps’ Lodge and the rehabilitation of the Principal’s Lodge at Epe Junior Grammar School, aimed at addressing long-standing infrastructure gaps.

The initiative is designed to provide comfortable accommodation for teachers and corps members, enabling them to focus fully on academic excellence and student development.

Rep. Wale Raji

Representative Wale Raji said the projects reflect his continued commitment to meeting the real needs of residents in the constituency.

Beyond housing, work has commenced on a modern livestock market in Poka to create a cleaner and more organised trading environment for farmers and merchants.

In recent years, the lawmaker completed 2km of strategic road networks to ease movement for residents and businesses.

A modern mini stadium and a state-of-the-art ICT Centre were also delivered to promote youth sports and digital learning.

At Epe Grammar School, 100-bed hostels for boys and girls have been constructed to improve student welfare.

Over 150 classrooms have been facilitated across the constituency, including 18 newly commissioned classrooms at Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School and Anglican Primary School, Ebute Afuye.

Community leaders say the projects are transforming education and agriculture while strengthening development across Epe.
