The momentum behind the second term ambition of Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, continues to grow as more stakeholders and prominent individuals lend their support.
EpeInsights reports that on Tuesday, July 1st, Hon. Olusola Edalere, Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman on Agriculture and Social Services, alongside other key supporters, paid a solidarity visit to the Council Secretariat to formally endorse Hon. Olowa’s re-election bid.
Joining in the endorsement were the Chairman of Villa Rica Hotels and Resorts, members of the Okeleji family, the California Base Boys group, and Enikay, all expressing confidence in the leadership of Hon. Olowa and their commitment to supporting his continuity in office.
The group noted that their endorsement stems from the visible development strides, inclusive governance, and policy consistency demonstrated by the Chairman during his first term.
Speaking on behalf of the visitors, Hon. Edalere described Hon. Olowa as a “visionary leader whose work speaks for itself,” adding that “continuity is not just a slogan—it is a necessity for sustained progress in Ibeju-Lekki.”
The endorsement is part of a growing wave of support across the local government as the July 2025 local council elections approach, with community groups, political stakeholders, and youth associations publicly aligning with Hon. Olowa’s campaign.
