Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended warm congratulations to Prince Tajudeen Olusi, the Chairman of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), on his installation as the Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti.
EpeInsights learnt that the revered chieftaincy title was conferred by the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, in recognition of Prince Olusi’s longstanding service and impact across Yorubaland.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the honour as “well-deserved,” noting Prince Olusi’s legacy as an elder statesman, seasoned politician, and exemplary leader.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the Governor praised the significance of the honour being given in Olusi’s maternal hometown, calling it a “commendable gesture.”
“Prince Olusi has always stood out as a man of vision, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public service,” Sanwo-Olu said. “His leadership qualities continue to inspire many, especially those in politics and public administration.”
He added, “On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I celebrate this milestone with Prince Tajudeen Olusi. His installation as the Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti is a testament to his tireless contributions to leadership, community development, and the preservation of Yoruba culture and tradition.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu also prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for Prince Olusi, as he continues to serve humanity with distinction.
“Once again, I congratulate our dear father and leader. May his new role bring him more opportunities to impact lives and promote the values he has always stood for,” the governor said.
