As Nigeria marks Children’s Day, the Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji, has reiterated his commitment to the education and welfare of children across the constituency.
EpeInsights reports that in a warm and reflective message to commemorate the day, Rep. Raji described children as not only the future but also “the light of today,” deserving of every opportunity to thrive.
“Our children are the joy of today and the promise of a brighter tomorrow,” he said. “They must be given every tool and support to dream, grow, and flourish.”
Highlighting his efforts to improve access to education in Epe, Eredo, and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDAs, Raji revealed that close to 160 classrooms have been constructed under his leadership.
He emphasized that these structures represent more than physical development they are “beacons of hope” designed to unlock potential and shape destinies.
The federal lawmaker also noted the strides made in bringing educational infrastructure to previously underserved communities, including Oko-Abe, Temu, Owu-Ikosi, and Ilege, through legislative advocacy.
“These efforts reflect not just policy but purpose—a promise made to the people, and a promise kept with integrity,” he said.
Raji urged constituents to view the future of children as a shared mission, emphasizing that their success is a collective responsibility. He pledged to remain steadfast in championing initiatives that empower the next generation.
“Happy Children’s Day to every shining star in Epe, Eredo, Ikosi-Ejinrin, and beyond,” he concluded. “May your dreams know no boundaries.”
The message underscores Rep. Raji’s continued focus on child-centered development as Nigeria reflects on the rights, well-being, and potential of its youngest citizens.
