Rep. Wale Raji, Member representing Epe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, has carried out an inspection of ongoing projects across the Eredo Local Council Development Area to ensure quality delivery and accountability.

Epe Insights reports that the federal lawmaker began the inspection at Pobo Market, Poka, where the Phase II expansion project is nearing completion.

The expansion project includes the construction of 24 semi-lock-up shops, increasing the total number of shops within the market complex to 72.

Ahead of the planned commissioning later this month, Rep. Raji directed contractors to complete all outstanding work to high standards.

He stressed that the project must be delivered in excellent condition to support traders, customers, and commercial activities within the community.

The inspection team later moved to Pobuna Secondary School to assess progress on a previously stalled classroom construction project.

The project involves a storey building comprising 12 classrooms, offices, and furniture aimed at improving learning conditions for students.

Contractors on site confirmed that construction has fully resumed, with work accelerated to meet the delivery timeline.

They assured the lawmaker that the project would be completed and ready for use by April.

Rep. Raji emphasised the importance of monitoring projects beyond facilitation to ensure value for public funds.

He noted that effective supervision remains critical to delivering infrastructure that meets community needs.

The inspection underscores his development-focused representation centred on quality assurance and accountability.

The projects are expected to boost commercial activities and strengthen education infrastructure in Eredo LCDA.

Residents anticipate that the completed projects will deliver lasting socioeconomic benefits across the constituency.
