The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Adewunmi Gbolahan Ogunsanya, has underscored the importance of personal development and a positive workplace culture in achieving organisational goals.

EpeInsights reports that Mr. Ogunsanya made this known during the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board’s in-house training, themed “Building a Cohesive Team in a Competitive Environment,” held recently at the Board’s conference room.

Addressing participants, the Permanent Secretary described personal growth as a critical investment for future success.

“One of the surest ways of making one’s tomorrow good is personal development,” he said, while also stressing the significance of teamwork as a driver of organisational success.

He further commended the Board Secretary, Dr. Gbolabo Okudero, for his dedication and selfless service, describing him as a committed leader whose efforts continue to strengthen the board.

In his remarks, Dr. Omoniyi echoed the Permanent Secretary’s views, emphasising unity, collaboration, and staff engagement as key to meeting the board’s mandate. “Nobody will remain small forever,” he told the participants, encouraging them to embrace continuous learning and work as a united team.

The training reflects the Board’s commitment to staff development and capacity building, ensuring that it remains well-positioned to deliver efficient and impactful services to pilgrims and other stakeholders.
