In a move to boost productivity and service delivery, the Office of the State Auditor-General has commenced a three-day capacity-building workshop titled “Performance Management for Optimum Results” for Non-Auditors.
EpeInsights gathered that the workshop, which began at the Office’s training room in the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, aims to enhance job performance among non-audit staff through structured learning and engagement.
The training is being held in collaboration with Blueshot Consulting Limited.
Declaring the session open, Dr. Muyiwa John Adetola, the Lagos State Auditor-General, commended the participants for their dedication and encouraged them to maximise the opportunity to improve their professional output.
He acknowledged the support of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for approving the initiative.
“This training is designed to sharpen your skills and equip you to deliver your duties more efficiently,” Adetola stated. “Pay close attention, ask questions, and engage fully in the sessions.”
Facilitating the workshop, Mrs. Mustapha Ganiat of Blueshot Consulting Limited noted that the programme is tailored to help participants better understand performance management systems and align their individual efforts with the organisation’s broader goals.
“The course is structured to empower officers with tools to enhance their performance and support organisational success,” she said.
The workshop reflects the state government’s continued commitment to improving public sector efficiency through training and development.
