The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Epe Branch, organised a two-day End-of-Year Get-Together to appreciate staff dedication and strengthen workplace unity at the Epe Local Government Secretariat.
Epe Insights reports that the programme, held on Monday, December 15, and Tuesday, December 16, 2025, was designed to promote institutional harmony and recognise staff contributions to effective grassroots governance under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Princess Surah O. Animashaun, FHTI.

Activities on the first day featured a free medical outreach for staff and members of the public, aimed at improving access to basic healthcare services and promoting health awareness within the community.
The second day focused on a formal end-of-year celebration for local government staff, with goodwill messages, music, games, and recreational activities marking the close of the year.
A key highlight was the presentation of awards to outstanding staff members in recognition of professionalism, diligence, and exemplary service to the local government.


Representing the Executive Chairman, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Adeniyi Owolomoshe, received an Award of Exceptional Leadership on her behalf, presented by NULGE, Epe Branch.
Owolomoshe said the administration remains committed to staff welfare, noting that a motivated workforce is central to efficient service delivery and institutional growth.
NULGE leaders praised the Chairman’s inclusive leadership style, describing the award as a reflection of workers’ appreciation for a supportive and people-oriented administration.

The event was attended by dignitaries, including the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Taofeek Araba, councillors, APC Epe LG Chairman, Comrade Toyin Gbadamosi, management staff, union leaders, and guests.
