The newly elected executive members of the Association of Primary School Teachers of Nigeria (APSTON), Odogbolu Branch, have paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya.

The visit, held at the council secretariat, was part of a familiarization tour by the APSTON leadership following their peaceful and unopposed election.
Led by their Chairman, Comrade Adebamiro O.I, the team reaffirmed their commitment to unity, teacher welfare, and constructive engagement with stakeholders.
During the visit, Comrade Adebamiro commended Dr. Diya for his inclusive leadership and consistent efforts toward promoting harmony in the education sector.
He assured the chairman of the association’s readiness to work collaboratively for the good of primary school teachers in the area.
In his response, Dr. Diya expressed appreciation for the visit, noting it as a positive step toward partnership and progress.
He applauded the executives for their proactive approach and urged them to maintain the spirit of teamwork and unity in leading the association.
He also acknowledged the efforts of Hon. Kazeem Suleiman Olaoluwa (KSO), Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, for his role in building understanding among stakeholders.
The newly elected APSTON executives are: Comrade Adebamiro O.I (Chairman), Comrade Otenaike A.A (Deputy Chairman), Comrade Ifalaja O.E (1st Vice Chairman), Comrade Abass Bolanle (2nd Vice Chairman), Comrade Oyekan Esther (3rd Vice Chairman).
Others are; Comrade Ogunwo O.O (Branch Secretary), Comrade Akinyemi O.M (Branch Treasurer), Comrade Adu Oluwafemi A. (Financial Secretary), Comrade Ogundipe A.M (Assistant Branch Secretary), Comrade Sanni K.A (Social Secretary), Comrade Ashiru M.O (Auditor I), Comrade Olusoga T.O (Auditor II), Comrade Ogundare T.O (Public Relations Officer), and Comrade Oduntan F.A (Co-Opted Member).
The visit signals a new era of partnership between APSTON and the Odogbolu Local Government, with both parties expressing optimism for continued progress and cooperation.
