The Chairman of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu, has lauded the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Surah Animasahun, for her exemplary leadership and transformation of the council secretariat.
EpeInsights learnt that Hon. Bayewu, who led a delegation of the commission on a working visit to the local government on Thursday, commended the ongoing beautification efforts and infrastructural upgrades within and outside the council secretariat.
The visiting team was warmly received by the Vice Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Owolomonse, who represented the Executive Chairman.
Also present were the Council Manager, Mrs. Dupe Giwa, members of the management team and staff of the local government.
Hon. Bayewu praised the council’s commitment to staff welfare and the creation of a conducive working environment, noting that the impressive ambience and orderly structure reflected purposeful governance.
He also highlighted the commission’s recent achievements, including staff conversion and promotion exercises, capacity-building workshops and seminars aimed at fostering professional development and enhancing productivity across local governments in Lagos State.
In her remarks, the Council Manager, Mrs. Dupe Giwa, expressed gratitude to the commission for the visit.
She assured the team of the unwavering cooperation and dedication of the management and staff of Epe Local Government towards improved service delivery.
The visit further strengthened the collaboration between the Local Government Service Commission and Epe Local Government, with stakeholders reaffirming their shared commitment to grassroots development and effective governance.
