In line with its commitment to building a modern and digitally skilled workforce, Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has organized an Excel Intermediate Level Training for its middle managers.

EpeInsights gathered that the training, held at the Council’s ICT Centre, brought together participants from different departments, equipping them with practical knowledge on how to effectively use Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and reporting.

During the sessions, participants were exposed to time-saving shortcuts, essential formulas, and data visualization tools, all designed to improve productivity and efficiency in their daily operations.

According to the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), the program is one of the numerous capacity-building initiatives his administration has designed to enhance staff performance and strengthen service delivery within the council.

“For us in Lekki LCDA, training and re-training of workers is not optional; it is a necessity. A skilled workforce translates to better service delivery to our people. That is why we continue to invest in the professional development of our staff,” Kasali stated.

The Chairman emphasized that such initiatives not only improve staff welfare but also position the council to respond more effectively to the demands of governance in a fast-changing digital world.

This training is part of an ongoing series of professional development programs under the Kasali administration, underscoring the LCDA’s vision of efficiency, innovation and people-centered governance.
