The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, has extended warm birthday wishes to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, commending his transformative leadership in steering Lagos towards a cleaner, greener and more resilient urban future.

“Your unwavering commitment to a #CleanerLagos has transformed waste management, restored our right of way and given us greener public spaces,” Wahab wrote.
He praised the governor’s efforts in promoting environmental consciousness and urban reforms, which he said have positively impacted the quality of life for residents and set new benchmarks for governance.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, who turned a year older on Tuesday, has spearheaded various initiatives under the THEMES+ development agenda, with environmental reform and infrastructure renewal standing out as central pillars of his administration’s second-term focus.
