The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, has extended warm birthday wishes to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, commending his transformative leadership in steering Lagos towards a cleaner, greener and more resilient urban future.
EpeInsights reports that in a celebratory message shared on his official Instagram page on Tuesday, Wahab described Governor Sanwo-Olu as “a true servant of Lagos,” noting the governor’s visionary leadership that has ushered in remarkable progress in environmental sustainability, infrastructure development, and urban resilience.
“Your unwavering commitment to a #CleanerLagos has transformed waste management, restored our right of way and given us greener public spaces,” Wahab wrote.
He praised the governor’s efforts in promoting environmental consciousness and urban reforms, which he said have positively impacted the quality of life for residents and set new benchmarks for governance.
“On this special day, we honor not just a leader, but a servant leader. May the year ahead bring you continued wisdom, good health, and greater success as we build the #GreaterLagos of our dreams together,” he added.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, who turned a year older on Tuesday, has spearheaded various initiatives under the THEMES+ development agenda, with environmental reform and infrastructure renewal standing out as central pillars of his administration’s second-term focus.
Wahab’s message joins a wave of tributes from colleagues, stakeholders, and citizens across the state celebrating the governor’s personal and political milestones.
