In a bold step toward reshaping the culture of public service in Lagos State, the Office of Transformation, Creativity, and Innovation (OTCI) has appointed a fresh cohort of Creativity and Innovation Ambassadors to champion reform across government institutions.
EpeInsights gathered that the newly selected ambassadors, drawn from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), were officially screened and confirmed at the Public Service Staff Development Centre in Magodo.
Their appointment marks a strategic effort to infuse fresh thinking and progressive solutions into the state’s public service.
Speaking during the event, Director-General of OTCI, Mrs. Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa, congratulated the appointees and urged them to see their selection as both an honor and a responsibility.
“Your selection reflects your potential to drive creative and innovative solutions in your respective MDAs,” she said, encouraging them to uphold OTCI’s core values and be catalysts for meaningful transformation.
Head of the Creativity and Innovation Department, Mrs. Omololu Ademuyiwa, described the appointments as a critical “call to action.”
She noted that the ambassadors would lead the Creativity & Innovation Committees within their MDAs, helping to steer innovation goals, foster collaboration, and embed a forward-thinking mindset in daily operations.
“These ambassadors are positioned to become change leaders who will not only promote new ideas but also inspire others to think differently about public service delivery,” she added.
The initiative is part of OTCI’s broader mission to foster a dynamic, responsive, and innovation-driven public service in Lagos State.
With the new ambassadors in place, the state is poised to deepen its transformation agenda and improve the quality of service to its citizens.
