The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving public education through the distribution of learning materials to schools across the council area.
Epe Insights reports that the exercise was carried out by the council’s Education Department on behalf of the Chairman, reinforcing his vision of creating an educational system where pupils and teachers have access to the resources needed for academic excellence.
The distribution was led by the Head of the Department of Education, Princess Eniola Bolajoko, who coordinated the delivery of instructional materials to beneficiary public schools across Lekki LCDA.
The initiative reflects Engr. Kasali’s sustained investment in education, with a focus on providing practical support that enhances classroom teaching and improves learning outcomes for pupils.
Since assuming office, the Chairman has continued to prioritize education as one of the pillars of his administration, introducing programmes and interventions aimed at strengthening the standard of public schools within the council.
The newly distributed learning materials are expected to support teachers in delivering effective lessons while giving pupils access to essential instructional resources that promote better academic performance.
According to council officials, the intervention forms part of a broader education agenda championed by Engr. Kasali to ensure that no child is denied the opportunity to receive quality education because of inadequate learning resources.

The Chairman’s education-focused policies have continued to demonstrate his belief that investing in children today is an investment in the future development of Lekki LCDA and Lagos State.
Beyond infrastructure and community development projects, Engr. Kasali has consistently placed human capital development at the center of his administration, with education receiving significant attention through targeted initiatives.
Education experts have long maintained that the availability of quality instructional materials contributes significantly to improved teaching standards, better classroom engagement, and higher academic achievement among pupils.
The latest distribution further underscores the Chairman’s resolve to build an enabling environment where teachers can perform effectively and learners can thrive academically.
