The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Alhaji Shakiru Akanni Seriki (BAMU), describing him as a “visionary leader, statesman and patriarch” whose legacy continues to shape the destiny of Epe Division and Lagos State at large.

EpeInsights reports that Hon. Anomo in a tribute released on behalf of his family, the executive and legislative arms of the LCDA, management staff and the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin, celebrated Seriki’s unwavering commitment to community development and political mentorship.

Alhaji Seriki, who serves as a member of the Governance Advisory Council and Apex Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Epe Division, is also the revered Apaase of Epe Land.

“Baba is not just a political icon; he is a divine gift to Epe Division and Lagos State,” Anomo said. “His life of sacrifice, vision, and people-oriented leadership continues to serve as a cornerstone for progress and transformation across our communities.”

The Chairman praised the octogenarian leader for playing a pivotal role in Epe’s transformation from a largely rural area into a burgeoning centre for investment, education, healthcare, and tourism.

He highlighted landmark developments such as the Lagos Free Trade Zone, Dangote Refinery, ongoing expressway expansions, industrial parks and upgraded health institutions as direct results of Seriki’s decades of advocacy and influence.

Anomo also acknowledged Seriki’s passionate commitment to human capital development, political inclusiveness, and unity, which has nurtured a new generation of leaders.

“Many of us, myself included, have been deeply inspired and guided by his wisdom,” he noted.

As Alhaji Seriki marks another year, prayers have poured in from across the Epe Division and beyond for continued health, peace and fulfillment for the elder statesman.

“May you live long to continue witnessing the fruits of your lifelong dedication to humanity,” Anomo concluded.

“Thank you for being a blessing to us all. E pe fun wa sir.

The tribute reinforces Seriki’s standing as a respected father figure and symbol of progress in the Epe Division, with many regarding his contributions as instrumental to the area’s socio-economic transformation.Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman Celebrates Alhaji Shakiru Akanni Seriki (BAMU) on His Birthday, Hails His Legacy of Visionary Leadership
