The Executive Council of the Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS) has presented the Ikorodu-Oga Public Service Award to Mrs. Rianat Onigbanjo, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (MWAPA).
EpeInsights reports that the award was conferred under the authority of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu and Paramount Ruler of the Ikorodu Division.
The presentation took place on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Owolowo, as part of activities marking the 34th Ikorodu-Oga Day Celebration.
While presenting the award, Oba Shotobi praised Mrs. Onigbanjo for her dedication to public service and her contributions to community development in Ikorodu and across Lagos State.
He described her as an example of integrity and excellence in public administration.
Chairman of IKODASS, Alhaji Kolawole Fatai Olayiwola, said the award is intended to motivate public servants, encourage professionalism, and celebrate individuals whose work promotes the growth and well-being of Ikorodu-Oga.
In her response, Mrs. Onigbanjo thanked IKODASS and the Ayangburen for the recognition. She dedicated the award to public service officers and reaffirmed her commitment to advancing initiatives that support women, families and communities throughout Lagos State.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including permanent secretaries, executive secretaries, directors, and traditional rulers from across the Ikorodu Division.
