The Lagos State University (LASU) Directorate of Advancement has strengthened its partnership with Ibeju-Lekki Local Government following a courtesy visit to the council secretariat.
EpeInsights learnt that the delegation was received by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, who represented the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa. He reaffirmed the council’s commitment to supporting academic growth and empowering young people in the community.
“Education remains one of the strongest tools for empowerment and liberation,” Olatunji stated.
“Our administration is fully committed to meaningful partnerships that will support our youth academically and professionally.”
He added that the council is ready to collaborate with LASU on programmes that will promote academic excellence, innovation, and community development.
The LASU team expressed its goal to reward outstanding academic performance and expand its impact through developmental initiatives.
“Our mission is to celebrate excellence and deepen partnerships that benefit society and future generations,” the delegation said.
The meeting ended with a mutual pledge to expand opportunities for students, foster innovation-driven projects, and strengthen educational initiatives within Ibeju-Lekki.
