The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has extended warm felicitations to his predecessor, Hon. (Dr.) Abdulsemiu Olorunkemi Surakat, in celebration of his birthday.
EpeInsights reports that in a goodwill message, Hon. Olowa described the former council boss as “a politician of repute and an administrator par excellence,” acknowledging his impactful leadership and lasting contributions to the development of Ibeju-Lekki.
“Hon. Surakat laid down a strong precedent in governance, and our local government has continued to benefit from the vision and structures he established,” Olowa said. “He remains a worthy predecessor whose tenure was marked by commitment to progress and community development.”
The Chairman, speaking on behalf of the Executive, the Legislative Council, and the entire management of the Local Government, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the celebrant good health and the grace to witness another year.

Hon. (Dr.) Surakat served as the immediate past Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and is widely respected for his administrative acumen and commitment to inclusive governance.
