Residents of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government will, for the first time, have the opportunity to engage their council leadership from the comfort of their homes as Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa introduces the maiden edition of the Monthly Online Community Meeting.

EpeInsights reports that the groundbreaking session, scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., will be streamed live on X Space (formerly Twitter), Instagram and Facebook to ensure maximum inclusivity and participation.

The meeting will serve as an open forum for residents to share feedback, ask questions and contribute ideas on how to build a stronger and more sustainable Ibeju-Lekki.

According to the council’s media office, discussions will focus on community priorities, infrastructure upgrades, public safety, and sustainable development initiatives under the S.H.I.E.E.L.D. agenda—Hon. Olowa’s blueprint for inclusive governance. “This town hall is more than a meeting—it’s a commitment to transparency and collaboration,” the statement emphasized.

The Chairman’s media aide, Akadiri Ayorinde, urged residents to seize the opportunity to make their voices heard. Your presence is highly important,” he noted, highlighting the administration’s vision of governance that thrives on active citizen participation.

With Ibeju-Lekki’s rapid growth as a hub for business, infrastructure and industrial projects, the virtual town hall marks a bold step in bringing government closer to the people, ensuring that no voice is left behind in shaping the community’s future.Hon.
