EpeInsights reports that in a statement released by the student body, FEDSA described Anomo’s leadership as forward-thinking and impactful, noting that his administration has rolled out several initiatives that have positively affected students and young people across the LCDA.
Among the notable interventions acknowledged by the association are bursary awards of ₦50,000 each to 50 indigent students in the first phase of the program and the distribution of educational materials such as school bags, writing materials, and footwear to pupils in the area.
The council chairman was also commended for providing a school bus to ease transportation for primary school pupils and for implementing a youth empowerment programme that trained 200 unemployed youths.
Fifty of the most outstanding participants were equipped with trade tools and resources to support their journey to financial independence.
Additionally, over 500 General Certificate of Education (GCE) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms were distributed free of charge to support students pursuing higher education.
The construction and full furnishing of three blocks of three classrooms each at LG Primary School in Otta, LG Primary School in Agbowa, and RCM Primary School in Ejirin were also highlighted as key achievements that have created more conducive learning environments.
According to FEDSA, these projects are more than developmental milestones; they represent long-term investments in the future of the community and will continue to shape the lives of students and young people for years to come.
The association expressed its appreciation on behalf of students across the Epe Division and wished Hon. Anomo continued success in his efforts to deliver purposeful and impactful leadership.
