The Ewade Family of Igbooye Kingdom, one of the four legally recognised ruling houses in Igbooye Eredo, Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Epe Insights reports that the milestone celebration drew family members, community stakeholders, religious leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to honour Otunba Musa-Adebamowo’s years of service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of Igbooye Kingdom.
Speakers at the event described the Olórí-Ebi as a man of integrity, noting his reputation for truthfulness, fairness, and principled leadership
Community leaders attested to his firm stance against land grabbing and other practices capable of destabilising peace within the kingdom.
Religious leaders present also commended Otunba Musa-Adebamowo for his fear of God and consistent support for harmony among families and residents, describing his leadership as a stabilising force in the community over the past two decades.
In a moving testimony, Orijeru of Igbooye Kingdom recounted a personal experience that highlighted the Olórí-Ebi’s selflessness and sense of sacrifice.
According to him, Otunba Musa-Adebamowo often placed the collective interest of the family and community above personal gain, even at great cost to himself.
Family representatives noted that under his leadership, the Ewade Ruling House has experienced improved cohesion, respect for tradition, and stronger engagement with other ruling houses and community institutions within Igbooye Kingdom.
They further described his tenure as one marked by wisdom, patience, and courage, especially in periods of communal tension, when his intervention helped prevent conflict and promote dialogue.
In his response, Otunba Abdulwasiu Ishola Musa-Adebamowo expressed gratitude to God, the Ewade Family, and the entire Igbooye Kingdom for their support over the years. He reaffirmed his commitment to peace, unity, and the preservation of tradition.
The celebration concluded with prayers for continued wisdom, strength, and long life, as the Ewade Family expressed optimism for sustained progress under his leadership.
