According to the organizers, the initiative is part of EPWA’s broader commitment to youth development and community upliftment, especially in underserved areas.

The program will feature two expert-led sessions:

  • Topic 2: Why Skill Acquisition Should Start from Childhood
Speaker: Mrs. Bisola Lawal, Proprietress, E-Reigns International Montessori School, Ikorodu.

Speaking ahead of the event, the President of EPWA emphasized the association’s focus on addressing educational inequalities and advocating for the integration of practical skills into early childhood learning.

“We believe children are the foundation of every thriving society. By giving them access to both formal education and practical skills, we are building a future generation that is knowledgeable, self-reliant, and productive,” she said.

The event is expected to bring together educators, parents, government officials and stakeholders from across the division for a collaborative dialogue on how to improve child development outcomes in both urban and rural communities.EPWA to Host Educational Summit Focused on Children’s Wellbeing, Skill Development
