The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, has warmly welcomed students, teachers and stakeholders to the 2025/2026 academic session with a message of hope, pride and renewed commitment.
EpeInsights reports that in her address, the Council boss highlighted her administration’s proactive approach during the holiday period, where summer lessons were organised to keep children engaged and academically sharp.
She further noted that the teachers who facilitated the program were promptly and fully rewarded, reflecting Epe’s tradition of recognizing dedication and hard work.
“This is the Epe way – a community where hard work is recognized and dedication never goes unnoticed,” she affirmed.
Looking ahead, Hon. Animashaun described the new session as “a season of hope, opportunity, and endless possibilities”, urging students to dream big, work hard, and achieve excellence.
Reiterating her administration’s unwavering commitment to education, she assured that every child would feel loved, every teacher valued and every school strengthened through transformative interventions and impactful initiatives.
“In Epe, education is not just a priority; it is our pride, our passion and our legacy,” she declared.
She encouraged students to embrace learning with zeal, reminded teachers of their pivotal role as torchbearers of knowledge and expressed gratitude to parents and guardians for entrusting the local government with the future of their children.
