The ancient town of Epe in Lagos State is in mourning following the death of its traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Oba Shefiu Olatunji Adewale, the Olu Epe of Epe Kingdom.

Oba Adewale, who ascended the throne in 2008 as the 19th Olu Epe, was widely respected for his humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the development of his kingdom.
