Moon Sighted in Saudi Arabia, Ramadan 2025 Start Date Announced

Ramadan 2025 start date has been announced after the sighting of the moon in Saudi Arabia.

Epe Insights reports that Saudi Arabia has announced the sighting of the Ramadan crescent in the Kingdom.

The holy month of Ramadan will consequently begin on Saturday, March 1.

The sighting of the moon in Saudi Arabia is coming after Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, had on Thursday called on Muslims to look for the crescent of Ramadan 1446 AH.

Although in Nigeria, the Sultan of Sokoto is yet to give an update, countries including Qatar, and Oman have officially announced that Ramadan would be observed on Saturday, March 1.
