Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki, popularly known as Bamu, has described the ongoing APC e-registration exercise as a strategic move to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Epe Insights reports that the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member and APC Epe Divisional Leader expressed satisfaction with the massive turnout and participation recorded across Epe Division.

Speaking during an interview, Alhaji Bamu, who is also the Apasẹ of Epe Land, said the e-registration exercise has enjoyed strong grassroots support from party members, leaders, and residents across wards.

He noted that the process would help the party build an accurate membership database, enhance planning, and consolidate its strength ahead of future elections.

According to him, the enthusiasm shown by residents reflects the dominance of the APC in Epe, stressing that effective mobilisation has positioned the division as a stronghold of the ruling party.

Alhaji Bamu also commended the efforts of APC leaders and representatives from the division, describing their performances as responsible, people-oriented, and worthy of continued public support.

He specifically praised the Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji, following the commissioning of projects at Epe Grammar School, where a boys’ hostel was named after him.

The APC chieftain expressed appreciation for the honour, describing it as a meaningful recognition of service and impact within the community.

He further lauded other elected representatives from Epe Division, noting that their achievements have earned them trust and goodwill among residents.

Reacting to plans by the Epe Club to immortalise him, Alhaji Bamu described the gesture as humbling and thanked the club for recognising contributions while beneficiaries are still alive.

He concluded by calling for unity, peace, and youth empowerment as key priorities for sustained development in Epe.
