Today, Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, the Office of Wale Raji (MHR) for Epe Federal Constituency will commission and allocate free shops at the newly constructed Ayetoro Heritage Market in Epe, Lagos State. The project, sponsored by Rep. Tasir Wale Raji (MHR), Chairman of the House Committee on Livestock Development, is set to empower local entrepreneurs and boost economic activities in the region.

Epe Insights reports that the event will be held at 10 a.m., with Princess Surah Animashaun, Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, hosting the ceremony. The Chief Host will be Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, GAC member and Epe Divisional Leader, while Her Excellency, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Special Adviser to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), will grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour.

The commissioning and allocation ceremony aims to provide business opportunities for residents, encouraging entrepreneurship and creating avenues for sustainable local economic growth. Attendees will witness the official handover of modern shop units to selected beneficiaries, marking a milestone in the Epe community’s commercial development.

Officials have emphasised that the initiative aligns with broader efforts to promote inclusive growth, job creation, and local enterprise development across Epe.
