Akogun Wale Anomo, Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has extended a New Year goodwill message to residents.
Epe Insights reports that the council chairman described the outgoing year as one marked by sacrifice, resilience, and collective determination, noting that the cooperation of residents played a critical role in recorded developmental milestones across the LCDA.
Anomo stated that unity and shared purpose enabled the local government to confront challenges and achieve progress in key sectors, adding that these gains have strengthened the foundation for greater achievements in the new year.
Reaffirming his mandate, the chairman assured residents that his administration remains focused on responsive governance and people-oriented policies that will accelerate development across Ikosi-Ejinrin in 2026.

He disclosed that ongoing and planned interventions in infrastructure, education, healthcare delivery, social welfare, and community development would be intensified to meet the growing needs of residents.
The council boss further emphasized the importance of human capital development, revealing plans to expand skills acquisition programmes, youth empowerment initiatives, entrepreneurship support schemes, and inclusive engagement to boost self-reliance and economic productivity.
According to him, empowering youths and supporting small-scale entrepreneurs remain central to building a resilient and prosperous local economy.
Anomo also urged residents to continue working together for the progress of Ikosi-Ejinrin while supporting the broader vision of a united, peaceful, and prosperous Lagos State and Nigeria.
He concluded by wishing residents abundant blessings, renewed hope, visible progress, and lasting joy in the year 2026, expressing confidence that the new year would bring greater achievements to the LCDA.
