The Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Wale Raji, has expressed deep shock and profound sorrow over the passing of High Chief Tajudeen Oriyomi Ayeola.
Epe Insights reports that the federal lawmaker, in a condolence message, described the late Arobayo as a towering statesman, bridge-builder, and global cooperative icon whose life was defined by service, integrity, and a deep commitment to humanity.
Rep. Raji noted that High Chief Ayeola’s influence transcended local and national boundaries, citing his remarkable contributions to cooperative development across Africa and beyond.
He said the late traditional leader played a key role in strengthening global cooperation and unity among diverse communities.
According to the lawmaker, the deceased’s service as Vice President of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Global, President of ICA Africa, and President of the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria placed him among Africa’s most respected cooperative leaders, whose legacies will endure for generations.
Rep. Raji described High Chief Ayeola as a symbol of wisdom and peace, noting that his leadership in Epe Land was marked by humility, dialogue, and an unwavering commitment to community development and harmony.
He added that the late Arobayo’s ability to build bridges across cultures, institutions, and nations made him a pride of Epe Land and a worthy ambassador of Nigeria on the global stage.

The lawmaker extended heartfelt condolences, on behalf of himself and the people of Epe Federal Constituency, to the Oloja of Epe Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, the Ayeola family, and the entire people of Epe.
Rep. Raji prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed chief and asked God to grant strength, comfort, and fortitude to the bereaved family and the people of Epe Land at this difficult time.
