In a strong show of grassroots mobilization and female solidarity, wife of the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, brought together women across the local council for another edition of her monthly Women’s Meeting on Friday.
EpeInsights reports that the well-attended gathering, held at the council secretariat, attracted leading women figures including Alhaja Jemilat Adeleke, Alhaja Ganiyat Sonaike and other respected matriarchs from various wards within the LCDA.
During her remarks, Mrs. Kasali called on the women to remain united and proactive, urging them to rally their families, neighbours, and communities to participate actively in the upcoming Local Government elections slated for July 12, 2025.
“Your voices and votes matter. As women, we have the power to influence and lead from our homes and neighbourhoods. Let us come out en masse and vote to sustain good governance and community progress,” she said.
The event was not just about mobilisation, it was also about support and solidarity.
As in previous editions, the meeting featured generous distribution of food items and cash gifts, reaffirming Mrs. Kasali’s ongoing commitment to women’s welfare and inclusion in governance.
Her consistent outreach has positioned her as a key pillar in strengthening female political participation and unity within the LCDA.
This meeting follows a similar edition held months ago, where Mrs. Kasali emphasized the role of women as homemakers, builders and change agents in local development.
