The Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Livestock Development, Rep. Wale Raji, has lauded the energy, resilience and innovation of Epe Youths, describing them as the driving force of the constituency’s progress.

EpeInsights reports that in a goodwill message to mark International Youth Day, Raji praised the role of youths in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals within the constituency, particularly in agriculture, education, commerce and technology.

He noted that their contributions can be felt from the farms of Eredo to the classrooms in Epe, from the bustling marketplaces of Mojoda to youth-led digital hubs in schools such as Ogunmodede College, Epe Grammar School, and Model College, Agbowa.

The lawmaker emphasized that his approach to governance has deliberately included young people, appointing some of the brightest and most creative minds into his office to bring youthful perspectives, energy, and innovation into legislative processes.

According to him, this inclusive style has helped drive policies and projects that directly address the needs of the people.

Raji outlined several areas where his leadership has impacted youth development. He spoke of ongoing efforts to build and upgrade schools across multiple communities, including Owu-Ikosi, Ilege, Ilara, Igbooye, Temu, Agbowa, Oko-Abe, Akodo-Ise, Ebute-Afuye, Epe Grammar School, Ogunmodede College, and AUD Primary School.

He also mentioned the expansion of opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises through skill acquisition programmes and start-up support, as well as regular quarterly meetings with youth bodies to ensure that their concerns are not only heard but acted upon.

He reiterated that his office remains accessible and inclusive for all young people within the constituency, stressing that youth leaders in politics, workplaces, and community service are the heartbeat of progress in Epe.

Their courage to lead, passion to serve and determination to innovate, he said, continue to inspire the broader community.

Raji reaffirmed his commitment to creating more platforms and partnerships that will enhance youth development, urging them to continue dreaming big, building meaningful initiatives, and leading with purpose.

He expressed optimism that with their energy and vision, Epe, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large would achieve even greater strides in the years ahead.
