The US Government has excluded Nigeria, the UK, and others from the 2025 visa-free entry.

Epe Insights reports that the United States government led by President Donald Trump, has published a list of eligible countries for its 2025 Visa Waiver Program (VWP).

The 2025 Visa Waiver Program (VWP) showed that the United Kingdom has been removed from the program but remains eligible under specific conditions.

The 2025 visa-free entry list does not include African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, or South Africa.

The VWP list remains mostly unchanged, though Romania has been added in a significant update.

The Visa Waiver Program according to the U.S. Bureau of Consular Affairs, allows most citizens of eligible countries to travel to the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without requiring a visa.

The agency stated, “Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel and meet all requirements explained below.

“If you prefer to have a visa in your passport, you may still apply for a visitor visa.”

Policy updates on permit eligibility, revisions to the list of participating countries, and new travel policies were added to the 2025 Visa Waiver Program.
