The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has secured a resounding victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election ahead the 2025 Local Government polls.
EpeInsights reports that the incumbent chairman, who emerged as the APC flagbearer for Eredo LCDA, described the outcome as a clear endorsement of his leadership, citing collective unity, mutual trust and his administration’s performance over the last four years.

In a heartfelt statement following the announcement of the results, Hon. Akinloye extended gratitude to party faithful, stakeholders, and residents.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all members of APC Eredo LCDA, the LGA Excos, our esteemed party leaders, the Ileri-Oluwa Campaign Team, and the good people of Eredo LCDA for your overwhelming support,” he said.
Akinloye emphasized that the landslide win was not merely personal but reflected the collective will of the people.
“Winning with a landslide is not just a personal victory. It is a testament to the collective effort, unity, and trust you’ve placed in our administration. It shows that good governance is indeed being recognized and appreciated.”
Looking ahead to the 2025 general election, Akinloye reaffirmed his pledge to deepen developmental efforts, stating that his second term would focus on consolidating gains and scaling impact.
“Greater achievements lie ahead. With your continued support, we will build on our successes and deliver even more impactful governance,” he affirmed.
He concluded by praying for unity and progress in Eredo, thanking the electorate for their confidence and urging continued collaboration.
