Two freshly robed barristers brought a burst of pride to Epe Federal Constituency on Monday when they paid a courtesy visit to their long‑time mentor, Hon. Wale Raji (MHR), fresh from the Call‑to‑Bar ceremony in Abuja.

EpeInsights reports that the newly minted lawyers, Hon. Saheed Bakre, former Vice‑Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, and Miss Niniola Areh, daughter of former Epe Local Government Chairman Hon. Shefiu Areh, arrived at the lawmaker’s constituency office accompanied by close family members.

Their purpose: to thank Rep. Raji for years of guidance, scholarships, and quiet encouragement that helped turn budding ambitions into professional reality.

“Watching you cross the threshold into the noble profession of law is a personal joy and a collective victory for Epe,” Rep. Raji told the duo, urging them to keep “excellence, integrity and public service” at the core of their careers.

Both new counsels trace parts of their success to the legislator’s mentorship programs, which fund bar exams and provide internships for promising students.

Hon. Bakre, now poised to blend grassroots politics with court‑room advocacy, said Raji’s impact “shows how far intentional leadership can shape destinies.” Miss Areh echoed the sentiment: “Epe is producing more professionals because someone believed in us first.”

Beyond the photo‑op, the meeting underscored Rep. Raji’s broader push to nurture talent within his constituency—a district that has sent dozens of beneficiaries through medical, engineering, and legal schools under his bursary schemes.

Constituents say the strategy is paying dividends: “When our children achieve, the entire community levels up,” noted community leader Mrs. Salewa Falade.

The celebration also carried symbolic weight.

In legal parlance, a “wig” is more than headgear; it is a badge of authority. By championing the rise of new “wigs,” Rep. Raji is investing in a future bar that can advocate for Epe’s own development battles, from shoreline protection to sustainable infrastructure.

As congratulatory messages flowed in on social media, Rep. Raji issued a final charge: “May your first briefs be bold, your arguments sound, and your hearts forever tuned to justice.” If Monday’s jubilant mood is any sign, Epe’s newest legal eagles are already spreading their wings.
