The lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji, has felicitated His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Telade IV, the 55th Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State, on the occasion of his birthday.
EpeInsights reports that in a message filled with reverence and admiration, Rep. Raji described the monarch as a royal father of distinction whose reign has brought peace, progress and purposeful leadership to his people.
He noted that the celebration was not only about the monarch’s birth but also about his noble legacy and unwavering commitment to the upliftment of his community.
“Your Majesty, today is not merely a celebration of your birth, it is a celebration of your noble legacy, your unshakable commitment to the upliftment of your people and your enduring reign of peace, progress, and purposeful leadership,” the lawmaker stated.
He further commended Oba Ogunsanwo for his wider contributions beyond Ilara Kingdom, particularly in his roles as Zonal Coordinator for the South West in the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) and as Financial Secretary of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council (SNTRC).
According to him, the monarch has remained a unifying force and tireless advocate for development, cultural preservation, and national cohesion.
Rep. Raji also highlighted the steady transformation the Ilara Kingdom has experienced under the monarch’s reign, attributing it to the king’s wisdom, humility, and dedication.
He prayed for the Almighty God to continue to strengthen and preserve the traditional ruler while wishing him many more years of honour and glory on the throne.

Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, who ascended the throne of Alara of Ilara as the 55th monarch, is widely regarded as a custodian of Yoruba heritage and a respected voice in regional and national traditional leadership circles. His reign has been marked by peacebuilding, advocacy for development, and the preservation of cultural values in Epe Division and beyond.
