The Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme under the administration of Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, has continued to record impressive success as the initiative entered its second day.
The Day Two exercise saw residents from Orimedu, Orofun, and Akodo communities in Ward C1 benefit from the intervention designed to provide financial relief and strengthen household income across Ibeju-Lekki.
According to reports from the Media Office of the Executive Chairman, the registration and disbursement processes were smooth and well-coordinated, reflecting the efficiency of the local government team and the high level of cooperation from the participating communities.
Hon. Olowa’s administration has been lauded for ensuring transparency and inclusiveness in the execution of the programme, which aligns with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship and promoting sustainable community welfare.
Residents expressed appreciation to the council boss for his commitment to grassroots empowerment and for bringing the benefits of governance directly to the people.
The exercise is scheduled to continue tomorrow, October 9, 2025, at Ward C2, covering Okun-Ilado, Iberekodo, and Magbon-Alade communities.
