The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), has extended heartfelt congratulations and prayers to the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Ogunsanwo (Telade IV), as he marked the fifth anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
EpeInisights reports that the Ooni while speaking during a colourful celebration held in Ilara, Lagos State, praised the Alara’s leadership, describing him as a monarch whose reign has fostered unity and development within the community and across the country.
“If the Alara were not a good and progressive leader, it would have been impossible to gather this calibre of royal fathers and dignitaries from across Nigeria in one place,” the Ooni remarked, highlighting the diverse presence of traditional rulers from the North, East, West and South.
The Ooni also offered prayers for the Alara, his family, and the Ilara Kingdom, asking for continued wisdom, long life, and divine favour in his leadership journey. He urged the monarch to remain committed to service, integrity and humility, values he noted would secure a lasting legacy.
The event was attended by royal dignitaries, political figures, and well-wishers from across the country, further underscoring the Alara’s influence and respect within traditional leadership circles.
