The Organising Committee of the Epe Division Community Annual Awards (EDCAA) has announced that online voting for the 2025 edition of the prestigious recognition programme will officially commence on Friday, November 1, 2025.
EpeInsights reports that this development follows the public release of the shortlist of nominees across various categories for the 6th edition of the awards, which celebrate outstanding individuals and organisations contributing to the social, economic, and cultural advancement of Epe Division.
The voting phase marks a crucial stage in the award process, as it gives residents and stakeholders across Epe, Eredo, Ikosi-Ejinrin and other parts of the division an opportunity to directly participate in selecting the final winners.
The online voting link will be made public through the official EDCAA communication channels, including social media pages and email updates, ensuring transparency and accessibility to all eligible voters.
In keeping with the vision of the EDCAA, the organisers emphasized that this year’s edition has placed special focus on inclusivity and the discovery of new community heroes.
The EDCAA Awards, established six years ago, have earned a reputation as the foremost community recognition platform in Epe Division, celebrating achievements in leadership, education, youth empowerment, philanthropy, entrepreneurship and entertainment.
Among the shortlisted categories for this year are Man of the Year, Ambassador of the Year (Male and Female), Most Influential Woman Leader, Philanthropist of the Year, Youth Influencer of the Year, and Media Company of the Year.
The Committee also assured stakeholders of the integrity of the voting process, noting that appropriate digital measures have been put in place to ensure fair play and prevent multiple or fraudulent entries.
Residents and interested participants are encouraged to follow EDCAA’s official social media handles and email updates for timely information on the voting process and subsequent award ceremony.
This year’s awards, themed “Celebrating Our Heroes and Heroines,” aim to spotlight unsung heroes whose daily contributions continue to strengthen the unity, culture, and progress of Epe Division.
The organisers reiterated their appreciation to all participants and supporters for their sustained enthusiasm and commitment to community excellence.
The official list of nominees for the 2025 edition was released in October, featuring notable personalities including community leaders, youth advocates, philanthropists, educators, entertainers and media organisations.
The final award ceremony is expected to hold later in the year, where winners from all 15 categories will be formally unveiled and celebrated.
